Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between H4 and H7 LED bulbs?
H4 (also called 9003/HB2) is a dual-beam bulb: one bulb gives both low and high beam on a P43t base. H7 is a single-beam bulb on a PX26d base, so a car with H7 usually uses one H7 for low beam and another bulb for high beam. They are not interchangeable. Check the code printed on the original halogen bulb or in the owner's manual.
Do LED headlights need a CANbus decoder?
Not always. Many vehicles (common on European brands and some newer Asian and American models) monitor bulb current. Because an LED draws far less power than a halogen bulb, the car may show a 'bulb out' warning, or the light may flicker. A CANbus-compatible bulb or a separate decoder/anti-flicker harness fixes this. Tell us the vehicle make, model and year and we will confirm what is needed.
What is the MOQ for OEM or private-label LED bulbs?
For OEM orders with your brand and customised packaging, the minimum order quantity is 2,000 pairs, and models can be mixed. Standard terms are a 40% deposit, with the 60% balance paid after inspection and before loading. Ask on WhatsApp about smaller trial orders.
How do I choose the colour temperature?
6000K–6500K is a cool white that looks closest to daylight and is the most popular choice for headlights. 4300K is a warmer white similar to factory xenon. 3000K is yellow and cuts through fog, rain and dust better because it causes less glare and back-scatter. The XT80 App model switches between 3000K, 4300K and 6000K from a phone app.
